Enhanced Cygnus to help Orbital ATK meet CRS contract by 2017 | NASASpaceFlight.com

The first flight of Orbital ATK’s Enhanced Cygnus resupply craft for the International Space Station is set to launch in December atop an Atlas V rocket.

Orbital ATK’s new model of the Cygnus spacecraft has enough additional capacity over the older standard version to eliminate the need for an eighth flight to ISS to complete their contract. Followon missions will also use the new enhanced Cygnus.
