GEN | News Highlights:Senolytics May Lead to Healthier and Longer Lifespans

Scientists at the Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), Mayo Clinic, and other institutions say they have identified a novel class of drugs that in animal models dramatically slows the aging process, -alleviating symptoms of frailty, improving cardiac function, and extending a healthy lifespan.


Two substances, a cancer drug and a nutritional supplement increase healthspan in mice bred to accelerated aging.
